About Jesse

Jesse Kennedy has been a full time location sound recordist since 2011. During this time he has worked on projects of all kinds, from small ENG to large narrative projects.

Jesse owns and operates professional audio gear from manufacturers like Lectrosonics, Sound Devices, and other ‘top shelf’ brands. Please feel free to ask any questions about gear or gear rentals.

Sound is essential for your final product and Jesse will work hard to deliver you the great dialog your project deserves.

Jesse uses a Sound Devices mixer/recorders and Lectrosonics as his primary wireless for talent, wireless audio to camera, and client audio monitoring.

For timecode Jesse choses Betso, including timecode slates, lock boxes for cameras, and wireless timecode distribution.

For microphones, Jesse uses a variety of brands and primarily Scheops for his boom microphone and Sanken or DPA or lavalier microphones.
